There’s a great write-up of ELCAF by Matthew Colegate on The Comics Journal. We get a mention alongside Breakdown Press and Rob Ball, and the writer really nails the appeal of our publisher Great Beast:

Great Beast seem to be operating like the best kind of independent record label: lots of different styles on display but everything held together by a common irreverence and verve.”

Team Hitsville will be at ELCAF tomorrow (Saturday 14th June). Dan and John will be playing tag team, John ‘ll be there from 10 until midday when he has to scarper and then Dan will be there the rest of the day.

So these are the two gents to look for on the Great Beast table tomorrow. That’s John on the left and the guy on the right who looks like William Morris is Dan.

We’ll have copies of Hitsville UK 1 & 2 and Hitsville prints for sale.

(NB. we cannot guarantee that Dan’s beard will be this long on the day)

Free music mag Loud And Quiet wrote about us in March:

It’s the serial and surreal nature of Hitsville UK that makes it an addictive read – being in on the joke and how bat-shit-crazy that joke is, as daydreams, call backs and drug trips are dropped in the middle of scenes with no prior warning.

You can read the whole piece here: http://www.loudandquiet.com/2014/03/indirect-hit/

Hitsville UK issues 1 & 2 are available from Great Beast comics.
